Magic All Around

Hi ya everyone!  Melissa here today to share this card I created for the April Magazine.  The image is from Crissy Armstrong called Crown of Daisies.  The sentiment is from Raindrop Echo at Whimsy and is called Fairy Fantasy Circle.  The die behind is fancy circle die and the paper is Cottage Garden.  The image was colored in my Copics.

I created a little purse for my daughter's birthday last month.  I made my own template and it came together surprisingly quickly.  For the cute tag I used

Naughty Puppies by Sylvia Zet  - Wee Stamps.

 They are such a cute set of little puppies.

Whimsy Stamps DT Call!!

We are looking for some new full-time designers to join our Whimsy Stamps design team!!!

This is an open DT call for anyone from anywhere to join our Whimsy Stamps design team! We welcome applications from all skills levels and all styles of crafting (CAS, vintage, etc.), and are looking for:

3 full-time designers and

1 full-time Magazine Staff designer

This call will remain open until midnight (EST) on Friday June 21st, 2013. Successful applicants will be contacted via email within a few days after the end of our call and once they have accepted, they will be announced on our website shortly after.

To apply:

- Please email us at whimsystampsdtcall@gmail.com telling us the position (or positions, if you would like to be considered for either) you are applying for and why you would like to join our design team.
- Please include your full name, contact info (including email address) and blog address.
- We would also like to hear a bit about you, so please include a brief description about you and your stamping style, previous and current Design Team work, and any other artistic information you would like to share.
-  Please also share 3 of your best creations showcasing your colouring/crafting skills, either by attaching photographs of them to your email, or by giving links to the 3 creations on your blog or online gallery. You can include cards, scrapbook pages, and/or altered items, but please ensure that the main focus of at least 2 of the creations is a stamped and coloured image.

Once we have received your email you will receive a confirmation of receipt. If you don't hear from us, we did not receive your application, so please re-send it!

Before submitting your application for our team, please read through the appropriate DT requirements (links below). Please do not apply if you cannot meet our requirements.

The big day...

Hi, Lori here.  I have some wedding inspiration for you today. With wedding season upon us this stamp is the perfect edition. It's called Love me Do... and is available in the Whimsy Store.  I coloured the image using copic markers and prisma colour pencils. I cut our the heart shape from a hand made template to fit a 6 inch envelope.  The flowers are ribbon and I finished off with some great embroidered detail ribbon and pearls all around.  Don't forget to pick up your copy of the Inspiration Magazine available in the store.
